'Join me in my solitude' series
I have always been fascinated by the body as a borderline between the material and subconscious, sensations and actions. It carries us through time and states of being, embodying transience itself.

This work explores the solitude of confronting life's meaning while highlighting our ability to connect. My characters, though depicted alone, access shared spaces through sculpted hands, symbolizing action and connection.

By incorporating personal stories of friends and using collected materials like sand, yarn, and dry leaves, I create relics of memory that preserve moments of connection. The hands in my art represent the power of action and choice—they can touch, build, create, or destroy. Each gesture symbolizes a decision, reflecting the range of possibilities we hold.

In essence, my art examines the balance between isolation and connection, the transient nature of life, and the choices we make, aiming to evoke a deeper understanding of our shared human experience.
